Candace Atlas

Associate

Candace Atlas is an Associate at Davis Bozeman Johnson Law. She brings a multidisciplinary background spanning behavioral health, executive leadership, and legal advocacy, enabling her to provide client-centered representation grounded in both analytical precision and empathy.

 

Before entering the legal field, she worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor for more than fifteen years, including a decade in executive leadership as a Clinical Director overseeing behavioral health programs and multidisciplinary treatment teams.

Candace earned her Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Florida A&M University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, and a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, she was an active member of the Black Law Students Association, serving as chapter historian.

​

Candace began her legal career in real estate law, probate, estate planning, and personal injury matters. She later served as an Assistant District Attorney in Rockdale County, where she handled cases in Juvenile and State Court, prosecuting matters ranging from traffic offenses to violent misdemeanors. Candace’s background in counseling informs her legal practice, equipping her with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex, high-stakes matters with clarity and care.

 

She is active in community service through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she participates in initiatives focused on civic engagement, social advocacy, and community outreach.
